Acorn Club

The Acorn Club is TGC’s holiday experience for children aged 5 to 11 years who love getting creative, getting outdoors and up close to the natural world.

Acorn Clubs run in the May half term and for two weeks during the school summer holidays each year. Clubs take place at Gillespie Park and King Henry’s Walk Garden.

Each day, the children explore a wide range of activities including treasure hunts, nature trails, gardening, wildlife exploration including pond dipping, clay modelling, and nature makes using natural materials. The Acorn Club is a brilliant opportunity for your child to enjoy being outdoors, make friends, and take part in stimulating activities with our enthusiastic and passionate facilitators.

All employees and volunteers adhere to TGC’s child protection and safeguarding policy which includes a full DBS check.
