Farrah Nazir

I am a public engagement specialist with over 12 years’ experience in both funding, developing, and delivering programmes that engage the public in science and society.

As a daughter of a market trader selling fruit, veg and spices from across the world, I’ve always been fascinated with the interconnections between the environment, food, people, and culture.

This led to me studying Psychology for my undergraduate degree, and later, a Masters in Evolutionary Anthropology.

I believe in outcomes-focused, solutions-agnostic, insights-driven engagement, where citizens are at the heart of everything we do.

I currently work at the Wellcome Trust where we develop bold and ambitious initiatives that help the public to use, inform and trust science research.
