Kwame Boateng

Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Advisor

Kwame Boateng is a researcher and educator deploying decolonial approaches to education and community development. He has a BA in Social Anthropology and Development from SOAS (School of African and Asian Studies) and specialises in race, identity and their respective intersections with education and transformative pedagogy.

A central component to Kwame’s work is the firm belief that access to nature and environmental education should be a right for all people, irrespective of their background, and that environmental justice cannot be separated from social justice, racial justice, and decolonisation.
