Volunteer

If you have a passion for education and the outdoors, TGC needs enthusiastic volunteers to enrich the experience of children and families locally, connecting them with nature through schools’ sessions and community activities.

Volunteers support TGC facilitators to deliver high-quality hands-on sessions in green spaces across Islington and beyond. We offer a full induction and training.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 15 half day sessions and all volunteers adhere to TGC’s child protection and safeguarding policy which includes a full DBS check.

Volunteers tell us:

“I enjoyed feeling part of making a difference in the local community.”

“TGC inspired me to follow my dreams and become a primary school teacher.  My life as a student begins…"
