This natural reserve opened to the public in 1985 and it’s quite popular within the local community. It was saved from development by local campaigners and is now managed by Hounslow Council and the London Wildlife Trust.
All sessions are led by the London Wildlife Trust. These are very hands-on nature sessions and are all linked to the national curriculum:
- Pond Dipping
- Minibeast Hunting
- Plant Detectives
- Wild Wellbeing
- Rocks & Soil (Lower KS2)
- Maps (Lower KS2)
Check their detailed session plans here.
