The Mudchute education project works with local schools by providing activities and courses in environmental education, science and farming topics.
These are linked to the National Curriculum and focus on a wide range of subjects:
- Pond Detectives
- Sensory Trail
- Minibeast Hunting
- Wildflower Hunt
- Exploring Trees
Being one of the largest city farms in the UK, the Mudchute has a café, riding school and stables, a shop, pet’s corner, nature trail, Living Classroom, Nursery, Children’s Growing Project and After School Club.

All sessions with the Education Officer run from 10 am-2pm
Farm Tours (maximum 30 children per tour) – £125.00
Workshop – £155.00
Tour/workshop – £255.00
Hatch & Brood – £300.00
