Sydenham Hill Wood

This is the oldest LWT reserve and has a mix of new and ancient woodland, with remnants of Victorian gardens. You will find more than 200 species of trees and plants, as well as rare fungi, insects, birds and woodland mammals.

Sessions led by the London Wildlife Trust. These are very hands-on nature sessions and are all linked to the national curriculum:

  • Pond Dipping
  • Minibeast Hunting
  • Plant Detectives
  • Wild Wellbeing
  • Rocks & Soil (Lower KS2)
  • Maps (Lower KS2)
