Urban Forest School Officer
Starting September 2026

We are looking for a great communicator with excellent administration skills, attention to details and a solutions-focused attitude.

The officer role will be responsible for managing the day to day timetable of the Urban Forest School programme which currently delivers almost 1k sessions a year.  With the support of the Director of Urban Forest School you will communicate with the delivery team and schools about the key logistics of the programme and any changes, ensuring things run smoothly.

In addition to the administrative aspects of the role, the officer will also assist on Urban Forest School sessions.  This part of the role requires the officer to support the leader on the session to set up the site and pack it down, co-lead games, supervise activities on offer for the children and help facilitate the learning and experience.  These sessions run in parks across Islington and Hackney.
