TGC runs Countryside Day Visits for schools every March and October at Falconhurst Farm (Markbeech, Kent). The farm can be reached by train from London in less than an hour. Countryside Day Visits to Falconhurst Farm focus on giving children the opportunity to meet farm animals and learn about how food and herbs grow in a market garden.
The visit also includes eating delicious local produce and exploring the local countryside through woodland walks and wildlife ID. Children and teachers are able to borrow waterproofs and wellies, and TGC facilitates activities with high quality resources and thorough risk assessments.
